Castor Oil For Baldness – How Does It Work:

Castro oil is a natural oil which is basically composed of fatty acids and is rich in ricinoleic acid. It has Vitamin E, proteins, minerals and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.

Due to its thick consistency, it coats the hair, scalp, and the hair follicles, protecting them from the microorganisms that may affect the hair growth. At the same time, it also acts against the bacteria and fungus that might be already present on the scalp or in the hair follicles. Castor oil also has anti-inflammatory properties, due to which it ensures the health of the scalp and the hair follicles.

1. Improved Blood Circulation:

The application of castor oil on the scalp and hair roots helps one ensure a healthy circulation of blood through the hair follicles and roots. This in turn boosts the growth of hair on the scalp and assists in making the hair longer and stronger.

2. Prevention Against Hair Loss:

Since it has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, the use of castor oil regularly prevents any kind of scalp infection from occurring. It has been observed that people, who use castor oil regularly, have countered troubles like ringworm, folliculitis and peidra very scarcely; hence, ensuring the health of their scalp and hair.

3. Split-End Control:

Since the use of castor oil strengthens hair, it also makes it less prone to issues like split-ends and breakage. It is thus recommended that people who have damaged hair or are combating rough hair use castor oil for their hair and see the difference for themselves.

4. Scalp Moisturizing:

The use of castor oil can moisturize the scalp and keep it supple since it is thick in consistency and keeps the hair and scalp coated for long. It also contributes towards smoothening the rough cuticles and helps the hair shafts in regaining their lost moisture.

How To Use Castor Oil?

Castor oil, owing to its thick consistency, can be a bit difficult to apply on the scalp. However, it is advised that in such a case it should be mixed with some other natural oil like coconut or olive oil.

In cases where one is witnessing a receding hairline, one may as well apply it as such with a cotton swab along the hairline and leave it on overnight. One must as well wash the hair in the morning as the thickness of the oil might make it difficult to style the hair. So why late? Try now...
