Turmeric Effect on skin

Turmeric for acne

Acne is a most common skin problem that is characterized by many symptoms like pimples, blackheads, zits, etc. on the face, check and back of the body. When dirt, dead skin cells, and other toxins clog pores, oil gets trapped beneath the skin causing bacterial infections that lead to acne. Acne is exacerbated by an over-production of sebum—the skin’s natural oil—which can be triggered by hormonal imbalances, poor diet, poor hygiene, certain medications, and other factors.

There are plenty of commercial acne treatments available, but they are often ineffective, and they cause unwanted side effects. Instead of wasting time and money on those, try turmeric.
